Duffus americanus
Duffus amaricanus -- A poisonous toad-like creature whose habitat is the slimy putrified areas where there is little light. .
I believe the proper term is "Dufus" - as a Duffey that other spelling causes too much self-doubt and shuddering that we may have even slight commonality to such a creature.
